Using nested databanks

BioRS nested databanks allow hierarchical structure within databank entries to be preserved for querying. This tour provides an example of a search performed with and without a nested databank.

Start the BioRS Integration and Retrieval System application and log in (described in the quick-search tour).

The databank tree will appear. Select the databanks to be queried. The name of the selected databank, GENBANK in this example, appears in the right panel.

To continue, click the "Basic search" button.
