Selecting indices

The basic query form appears.

Select indices to be searched from the drop-down menus on the left of the query fields in the "Query form" column. Available indices depend on the choice of selected databanks. Provide the query patterns in the query fields to the left of the index drop-down list.

Query fields as well as patterns inside a query field can be combined with a logical operator ("AND", "OR", "NOT"). This search will return entries that contain "mouse" or "rat" as the organism.

The "Description" (not shown) and "Organism" indices have been selected for displaying the corresponding columns in the results.
