Performing a phrase search

The BioLT phrase search allows you to perform an explorative search and get an overview of the relevant information in a text corpus. This tour provides an example of a phrase search and refining your search to develop more meaningful and successful search concepts.

Start the BioLT Literature Mining Tool and log in (see the Basic search tour ).

Enter a search expression in the field and select the "Phrases" dictionary from the drop-down menu. The "Phrases" dictionary contains all phrases identified by syntactic analysis of the complete text corpus. (In this way, you can quickly identify all phrases which are associated with a search term in the complete text corpus.) Set the other search options as desired and click the "Search" button to execute the search.
